BASW/SASW event, Tuesday June 3

Please see the following information relating to a BASW/SASW event occurring tomorrow.

On June 3, SASW will host its Annual Members Meeting at the Grassmarket Community Project, 84-86 Candlemaker Row in Edinburgh, EH1 2QA.
..
Lesley Riddoch, journalist and broadcaster, has agreed to talk to us about her work and writing on the strengths of communities within Scotland.
.
We are pleased to have assembled a Panel of strong speakers who have been prepared to accept our invitation to answer questions on our title: The Referendum: what are the implications for Social Work? Our own “Question Time” event will begin at 6pm, after our Business Meeting.
.
SASW remains absolutely impartial on the outcome of the Referendum. We have stated: This is not about deciding which way is best, it’s about consequential thinking and contingency planning for either outcome”.
.
Our own “Question Time” event will begin at 6pm, after our Business Meeting. The Panel members’ views are their own, and there will be some ability to respond to additional questions from the audience.

Please come and join our debate!
