Social Work Watch

UNISON have published their latest report: Social Work Watch – inside an average day in social work: How social work staff support and protect people, against all the odds.

In total, 1140 social workers took part, sharing the highs and lows of a working day on 29th April – an ordinary day in social work across the UK.

The report paints a picture of the incredibly difficult and diverse work UNISON members in social work do every day, and the toll it takes on family and personal lives. But it also highlights how much of a difference social workers make to the lives of children and adults going through difficult times.

If you are a UNISON member you should have the opportunity to get involved in this exercise again next year.
