SSSC Registration

The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) has been registering people who work in social services since 2003. There are now over 68,000 people in Scotland on the Register with another 50,000 expected to join before 2020. This is a really important aspect of the professionalism of our work.

You can share your views and experiences about registration by:

completing the SSSC survey at:

www.surveymonkey.com/s/SSSCregistrationreview

or by taking part in any of the events being held across Scotland – details below

or by emailing your comments to registrationreview@sssc.uk.com

The SSSC is hosting four sessions in February 2015:

  • Tuesday 3 February 2015, Edinburgh: 10.00 to 12.00 and 14.00 to 16.00
  • Friday 6 February 2015, Glasgow: 10.00 to 12.00 and 14.00 to 16.00

To be involved in shaping the future of registration, go along and get involved. These workshops are for all social service workers, employers and anyone within or connected to social services in Scotland.

Book a place through Eventbrite.
