“The View from Here survey is open to all those working in social services in Scotland – whether employed by local authorities, charities, private sector providers or the healthcare sector.  It asks those delivering care and support – working at any level – to share their views anonymously about issues including job satisfaction, training opportunities, workloads and the impact of policy on care professionals.”

Could you be a Shared Lives carer?

Shared Lives is about providing support to vulnerable adults who need some help to live their lives. Shared Lives are looking for individuals and families in the local community to offer accommodation and support for one or up to two vulnerable adults.

The City of Edinburgh Council have organised a carers’ event at the City Chambers on Wednesday 10 April where you will be able to meet current carers and Shared Lives staff and find out what is involved. Continue reading ‘Could you be a Shared Lives carer?’
